◇ 故事：监狱橄榄球大战

曾红极一时的职业橄榄球四分卫保罗·克鲁（亚当·桑德勒饰），魅力十足、众人皆知，却因某种原因被关进了监狱。碰巧，监狱长酷爱橄榄球，然而生性残忍的他专门雇佣那些擅长玩橄榄球的狱警，让他们和犯人们进行“比赛”，借比赛之名行欺负之实。刚进监狱，保罗就得到了监狱长的邀请——要他训练狱警橄榄球队。

虽然监狱长一番威逼利诱，不过吃软不吃硬、正义感十足的保罗决定让监狱长吃个闭门羹。监狱还真是卧虎藏龙之地，在两位狱友——喋喋不休的凯尔特克（克里斯·洛克饰）和前大学联盟冠军教练奈特（伯特·雷诺兹饰）的帮助下，顶住压力，团结众狱友以橄榄球对抗狱长。渐渐他赢得了伙伴们的尊重，成为球队的精神领袖。可监狱到底还是黑暗的，保罗到底是放弃比赛以重获自由，还是冒着在监狱里度过余生的危险而坚持下去呢？

◇ 看点：经典橄榄球影片搞笑翻拍

1974年，有着大学橄榄球联赛背景的伯特·雷诺兹凭借《最长的一码》成为无数人的偶像，迷人、强壮、英俊的他三十年后再度出现在了翻拍版《最长的一码》中，不过这次担纲主角的不再是他。新主角亚当·桑德勒既不那么善于运动、也不那么潇洒，不过他的特长就是够搞笑，而且这个表面一脸傻像的小男人还是5部过亿影片的主角。

继在《呆呆向前冲》里的橄榄球球场上成功树立地位后，一向小男人气十足的亚当·桑德勒又回到了成名的球场上，不过这次他可不是有点屏蔽词语的送水员，而是魅力十足的职业橄榄球选手。虽然角色设定和桑德勒的形象差得不是一点半点，但配上近年颇受欢迎的橄榄球题材，得到原版影片中伯特·雷诺兹的重要出演，和刚刚主持完奥斯卡的克里斯·洛克的搭档，虽然影片不一定会像原版般经典，但一定搞笑十足。

◇ 点评：“西格尔＋桑德勒”超强组合

桑德勒的近两部喜剧大热《愤怒管理》和《初恋50次》全是出自导演西格尔之手，所以，桑德勒想要稍微转型又不得罪死忠影迷，头一个想到的就是西格尔。虽然评论界对此合作颇有微词，认为不过是旧瓶新酒、老调重弹，但无论是对于制片公司还是影迷，这种合作都是稳当方便、上上之选。

虽然上映日期紧接《星战前传3》，会有不小压力，然而美国纪念日的到来，连星期一在内的4天假期会让更多人涌进电影院。而纪念日更直接代表着作为票房主导的学生们放暑假的日子，这绝对是每年最忙的时节。通常，往年的这个时刻，发行公司正庆贺着他们夏季顶峰的到来，不过今年异常冷淡的观众，则让老板们忙着祈祷，被特技、激光剑、星球大战晃晕了的影迷们，也顺便开始养成进影院的习惯。
